The Time Is Now...or when He says it is.

Confused...lost...where the heck am I?  I ponder daily about where I am in my life and where I want to be...the question at hand is...how the heck do I actually get there?

At this point in my life, I more relaxed than most people, I enjoy the fact that I have moved and left insignificant worries behind me, never to look back.  I had a house that I could not afford, a job that was stressing me out and bills that were piling up to the sky.  I now am in an affordable housing, laid off and slowly able to pay off those bills.  So, to me, right at this moment, life is good!

A bit deeper...my affordable house is now in an area where companies do not pay nearly as much as I am used to making.  Much less to say the least. Choices...do I look for a career change...a slower paced career, a career closer to home, a career that allows me to have just enough to pay for what is here and now and not save for future, a career that allows me to actually make a difference in peoples lives, that career that I have dreamed of since I was a girl.  Or, should I travel for a career that allows me to have a savings, stresses me out and join that workforce of people who are like robots in those cartoons...they punch in, do the same things everyday, get stressed out, bell rings and punch out...I believe God has bigger plans for me.  I just wish I could see them.

I ask God..Please allow me to see the plans you have laid out for me...I ask for the impossible, I know.  I do know that He will guide me the right way, He will let that light shine the way towards something great for me.  I believe that He knows where I am supposed to be and He knows I will get there..therefore, I will be patient.

Right here, right now...this is what GOD wants me to be doing.  Writing this so that you can read and write your own stories.  Tell the world about the journey and path you are taking in your life...right now!

  

I am by no means any kind of doctor, I just believe that sharing thoughts is an awesome way for people to share and become a community.  

I truly believe that you are the creator of your own destiny.  I believe that GOD placed us here, gave us the knowledge that we need to be who we are "supposed" to be. He put knowledge deep down inside us, so it would be safe from harm.  So deep that it would take some time for us to dig it up.  To protect it, he put obstacles in the path, obstacles to make us stronger and smarter so that the day when we actually get to that place where the knowledge is stored, we know exactly what we are to do with it.  However some of these obstacles are temptations that we are to overcome, turn the other cheek...not let them take over out life...but some let these temptations in.  Some let them take over, which opens up another path.  Not the original path that GOD has set for you.  But, he will redirect you...time and time again.  He wants what is best for you, for you to have the wonderful blessed life he has put in place for you.  He will put subtle changes in your path so be aware...if you decide to accept those subtle changes, you will be redirected to the chambers of knowledge.  You will realize that you you have changed courses, that you are once again on the path.  You will feel free, at peace.  You will realize the positive energy surrounding you...the positive people around you.

I teach my children to pray every chance they get, every silent moment.  Even if it comes down to a quick Thank you GOD for this day...for this air...trees...or whatever you feel that you are thankful that moment.  At bedtime, we have a routine...think about the day, take a minute to really thank GOD for the opportunities he laid in front of  you...the challenges he helped you overcome.  I tell them that he is ALWAYS with you, you are never alone out there.  He is your best friend, the best one you will ever have.

At this time in my life, I feel like I need to find my spiritual self.  I want to help other people find theirs...maybe we can do it together...maybe you can share your story.  One thing I love about the internet, it gives you the opportunity to SHARE your thoughts, feelings, experiences, stories with the world.  I found this website that I think is very interesting and helpful www.spiritual-web.com.  This website is to the point and offers tons of information, even several free ebooks!
